Hey there!

I am Laurel D'souza from Goa, India. I read a lot and occasionally write poems. Recently, I have obtained my Master's in English Literature and also cleared the UGC NET(National Eligibility Test) in India. 

Initially, I created this blog to maintain a database, an online diary of sorts, that could hold all of the things I had written at that point and would hopefully write in the future. During my master's program, I had a tough time finding quality reference and study material. Do not get me started on the time when I started my NET preparation. So, I thought of adding more content here that might help out those looking for help in their own journey of studying English literature, especially in India. 

The real reason for investing more time in this blog is however, really selfish. This is my way of staying in touch with the thing I love most and that is English literature. Admittedly, I suck at keeping up with most projects I start however, I hope it's different this time. I keep trying to get better because that's something we all can do. Thanks for reading!

After a long writer's block, this is what I keep up with. The gist of this poem is that your 20s suck and adulting kills you on the inside. Enjoy!
